                          ("Jourdan" or the "Company")

                             Expiration of warrants

The Company announces that all outstanding warrants to subscribe for ordinary
shares in Jourdan plc, granted pursuant to a bonus issue announced by the
Company on 10 September 1999, have now expired. The warrants were issued on 15
November 1999 and were capable of being exercised during any period of 28 days
following publication of the final accounts of the Company for each financial
year of the Company between 30 June 2000 and 30 June 2006.

The final accounts of the Company for the 2006 financial year were published on
29 September 2006 and accordingly all warrants which had not been exercised
prior to 26 October 2006  have now expired. Any certificates held by
warrantholders are no longer valid and should be destroyed.
