                        Resignation of Nominated Adviser 
 
Further to the suspension of trading in the Company's shares on 25 October 2010, 
Maypole Group plc announces that Simon Bower and Bruce Mackay of Baker Tilly 
Restructuring and Recovery LLP were yesterday appointed joint administrators to 
the Company. In accordance with the terms of its agreement with the Company, 
Religare Capital Markets (UK) Limited has resigned as its nominated adviser with 
immediate effect.  If no new nominated adviser is appointed before 29 November 
2010, admission of the Company's 0.3p ordinary shares to trading on AIM will be 
cancelled with effect from 7am on that date.
