              NewRiver Retail Limited ("NewRiver" or "the Company") 
 
                             Conversion of Warrants 
 
NewRiver Retail Limited, the specialist value-creating retail property 
investment and asset management company, announces that Cheviot Capital Nominees 
Limited have converted 2,308 warrants into ordinary shares of no par value 
("Ordinary Shares") at a subscription price of GBP2.44. 
 
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and to the Daily Official 
List of the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, LBG ("CISX") for the 2,308 Ordinary 
Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and the Official List of the CISX. It is 
expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the Ordinary 
Shares will commence on the CISX and AIM at 8.00 a.m. on 16 September 2010. 
 
Following the issue of the Ordinary Shares, the Company's issued share capital 
will consist of 14,838,508 Ordinary Shares with voting rights.
