Pex plc today received notification dated 26th February 1999
that  following the recent sale of 1,000,000 ordinary shares
in  Pex plc, The Hartstone Group PLC now has an interest  in
9,549,180 ordinary shares in the company, representing  5.7%
of the issued ordinary share capital.
