Quester VCT 4 plc ("the Company")                       

The directors are pleased to announce that on 16 March 2006 the Company made an
allotment of 39,803 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company under the terms
of the Company's dividend reinvestment scheme.

Mr APM Lamb, a director of the Company, has subscribed for 317 Ordinary Shares
as part of this allotment and following this his interest in the ordinary share
capital will be 20,984 Ordinary Shares.

It is expected that dealings will commence on Tuesday 21 March 2006.
