QXL ricardo plc (the 'Company')



Exercise of options


The Company announces that a number of employees have exercised their options
over ordinary shares in the Company and a total of 111,274 ordinary shares of 5p
each are being issued as a result of the exercise of these options. Of this
total, 46,562 ordinary shares have been issued on the exercise of options by
persons discharging management responsibility for the Company, namely Robert
Dighero (26,562 shares) and Peter Oertlin (20,000 shares).


All the shares issued rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary shares of the Company. Following the exercise of these options, the
Company will have 46,184,709 ordinary shares in issue.
