RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION LIMITED ("Renewable Energy Generation" or the 
"company") 
DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING A POSSIBLE OFFER TERMINATED 
 
 
On 22nd May 2009, the Board announced that it was continuing to have preliminary 
discussions with a further party regarding a possible offer for the Company and 
stressed that there was no certainty that any offer will be made. The Board 
confirms that discussions with this party have now ended. Accordingly, the 
Company is no longer in an offer period for the purposes of the City Code on 
Takeovers and Mergers (the "Code").
