POSTING OF CIRCULAR AND NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING CONCERNING THE

PROPOSED PURCHASE OF MAGIC LIFE HOTELS (A RELATED PARTY TRANSACTION WITH TUI AG)

TUI Travel PLC ("the Company") announces that, further to its announcement dated 26 May 2011, a General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 22 June 2011 at 10.30am at the offices of Herbert Smith, Exchange House, Primrose Street, London EC2A 2HS at which the Company's shareholders will consider whether a related party transaction with TUI AG, in respect of the proposed purchase of Magic Life hotels, should be approved. TUI Travel PLC also confirms that trading remains in line with the Board's expectations.

In connection with the meeting, the following documents have been posted or made available to shareholders today:

- Circular to the Company's shareholders in respect of the related party transaction; and

- Notice of General Meeting of the Company (which is incorporated into the circular).

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.1, copies of these documents have also been forwarded to the FSA for publication through the Document Viewing Facility and will be accessible via the National Storage Mechanism website (www.hemscott.com/nsm.do).

The circular, which incorporates a Notice of General Meeting in respect of the proposed purchase of Magic Life hotels, is now available on the Company's website www.tuitravelplc.com and can be accessed through the link on the right-hand side of the home page entitled "Latest News".
