Revocation of investment company status

Unicorn AIM VCT II plc is pleased to announce that during recent months the
Ordinary Share Fund has realised capital gains after the disposal of several
investments.

As envisaged in the Prospectus, the Board intends to pay capital dividends to
shareholders once capital profits have been realised. The Board has therefore
decided that it is no longer appropriate for the Company to remain an
investment company and has revoked the Company's investment company status with
effect from 31 October 2007.

The Board will consider a capital distribution to Ordinary Fund shareholders as
part of the finalisation of the Annual Report and Accounts for the year-ending
31 December 2007, and intends to announce the results of these deliberations
when the year-end accounts are published.
