    LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2002--

Bovis Homes Group PLC is today meeting analysts and investors and the
Chief Executive, Malcolm Harris, will be advising that:-

"Cumulative sales for the current year are over 10% above the
comparative period in 2001 with operating margins in line with Group
expectations. Demand for new homes continues to outstrip supply due to
the growth in household formation and the constraint upon land release
imposed by the existing planning system. Affordability remains sound
due to low interest rates and a competitive mortgage market. Despite
recent price increases buying a home today, with a standard variable
mortgage rate, is 35% cheaper than the average cost over the last 25
years.

conditions, we are confident of delivering a good set of results this
financial year and are well placed for 2003."
