                   Vycon appoints key personnel and increases 
              infrastructure in support of growing production and 
                     the development of larger products

Vycon Inc ("Vycon" or the "Company"), the designer and manufacturer of
high-speed flywheel based energy storage systems, is pleased to announce that,
as part of its growth strategy, it has appointed Mr. Pana Shenoa as Vice
President of Engineering. Pana (aged 54) will be responsible for the end product
development role for the engineering team and will complement the core flywheel
expertise of the Company's Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Pat McMullen.  Pana has
over 20 years experience in the power industry and a solid track record in
successful product launches; he joins Vycon from Liebert Corporation, a division
of Emerson, where he was Manager of Power Technology. Pana's appointment,
alongside Pat, positions the company so that it is well placed to seek cost
improvements to existing products as volume production is ramped up. This will
be done alongside the development of larger products which will be used to
exploit new market opportunities going forward.

Vycon is also pleased to announce that it has signed a five year lease for a
35,000 square foot facility in Yorba Linda, California. The outfitting of the
new facility (with at least five times more manufacturing space and power) will
start immediately with a target move date of the end of May 2007. The capacity
increase is key to Vycon's expected growth in production and the development and
testing of future larger products.

  * Vycon, based in Cerritos, California, designs and manufactures
    high-speed flywheel based energy storage systems. Its existing products
    target the global uninterruptible power supply ("UPS") and dockyard crane
    markets where its clean technology can significantly reduce emissions of
