    London, UK, 30 October 2008 York Pharma plc (AIM: YRK), the pharmaceutical company focused on the field of dermatology, announces that
further to the Company's announcement on 28 October 2008, the Company is pleased to confirm that a circular will be sent to shareholders and
the holders of AIM warrants later today containing notices convening both an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and a general
meeting of AIM warrant holders for 27 November 2008.

    As set out in the Circular the expiry date of the warrants are being extended and Mr T I Sadler, CEO of York Pharma Plc is one of the
beneficiaries of this extension due to his holding 965,000 warrants.
