Eaton Corp. PLC said it aims to cut at least 50% of its carbon emissions by 2030, a move it said could make it carbon neutral by then.

The power-management company said it is forming an executive sustainability council chaired by its chief executive to oversee its sustainability strategy. It plans to invest more than $3 billion in research and development over the next 10 years on energy efficiency, Eaton said.
