AstraZeneca PLC (AZN, AZN.LN) Chief Executive Pascal Soriot said the U.K. drugmaker is on track to reach $45 billion in annual sales by 2023, from about $25 billion currently. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal at an industry conference, Mr. Soriot said AstraZeneca aims to reach the sales target with the help of nine products that were either recently launched or are still in development. He added, however, that recent criticism of U.S. drug pricing is "a real issue the industry has to deal with." ADRs fell 25 cents to $31.45.

HSBC Holdings PLC (HSBC, 0005.HK, HSBA.LN) probably won't be moving its headquarters to the U.S. Ahead of an update next month, when the bank may clarify its plans on a potential new home, officials have all but ruled out moving to the U.S. The bank will likely decide this year between staying in London or relocating to either Hong Kong or Paris, The Wall Street Journal reported. ADRs fell 1.8% to $35.97.

Advertising firm WPP PLC (WPPGY, WPP.LN) said that its investment arm, WPP Digital, has acquired a minority interest in Mitu Inc., for an undisclosed sum.
