EPM Mining Ventures Inc. Announces New OTCQX Symbol
TORONTO, Jan. 18, 2013 /CNW/ - EPM Mining Ventures Inc.
("EPM" or the "Company") announced today that it has obtained a new
symbol (EPKMF) for trading on the OTCQX International. This new
symbol is more closely aligned to the symbol used for trading of
the Company's shares on the TSX Venture Exchange. (TSXV: EPK)
(OTCQX: EPKMF) As a segment of the OTCQX marketplace, the OTCQX
International is reserved for high-quality non-U.S. companies
listed on a qualified stock exchange in their home country.
Lance D'Ambrosio, Chief Executive Officer of
EPM, said; "We are very pleased to have obtained our new symbol.
Now our TSX Venture Exchange symbol, EPK, and our OTCQX symbol,
EPKMF are similar and easier to remember. This should reduce
confusion for all investors and result in enhanced liquidity and a
more orderly retail market."
The Company anticipates that trading will
commence on the OTCQX on January 22,
2013 under the new symbol EPKMF. EPM will continue to trade
on the TSX Venture Exchange under its existing symbol EPK. The
previous OTCQX symbol for the Company, EPMMF, will remain active
but now will be tied only to non-voting shares, which are
convertible to voting shares on a one-to-one basis.
