EDMONTON, Jan. 23, 2018 /CNW/ - Mr. Sine Chadi, Chairman of
the Board of Imperial Equities Inc. (TSX-V:IEI) ("Imperial or the
Company") is pleased to announce that Ms. Susan Green has been appointed a director of
Imperial Equities Inc.
Throughout her impressive career, Susan
Green has held senior executive leadership roles at the
University of Alberta, the Alberta
Cancer Board, the Alberta Cancer Foundation, the Alberta Government
and most recently completed her term as Chair of the Alberta Gaming
and Liquor Commission.
In addition to her extensive leadership experience, Ms. Green
has devoted countless hours giving back to the community. She
commits her talents to a multitude of humanitarian works, which has
included serving as the chair and on the executive committee of
provincial, national and international organizations such as
Habitat for Humanity, Crossroads International, Pearson College of the Pacific, the Rotary Club
of Edmonton Glenora, Edzimkulu: A Society for Children with AIDS in
South Africa and the Lieutenant
Governor of Alberta Arts Awards Foundation.
Ms. Green holds an honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Alberta, certificates
from the Banff School of Advanced Management, the Niagara
Institute, the Foundation of Administrative Justice and is a
graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors – Rotman Directors
Education Program. She is the recipient of several prestigious
awards for professional and community service including an Honorary
Degree from MacEwan University (2014), the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Award (2013), Global Woman of
Vision (2006) the Alberta Centennial Medal for Community Service
and Professional Service (2005) and Venture magazine's 2016 Top 50
Influential Albertans.
