SNS Select Sands Corp

SNS Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE: SNS) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has closed a non-brokered flow-through private placement with the MineralFields Group as announced in its news release of December 30, 2009. Pursuant to the Private Placement, 4,347,826 flow-through units were placed at a price of $0.23 per Unit providing the Company with gross proceeds of $1,000,000. Each flow-through unit consisted of one common share in the capital stock of the Company and one-half transferable non-flow-through share purchase warrant which would allow the holder to purchase one common share of the capital stock of the Company at an exercise price of $0.40 per common share in year 1 and $0.45 per common share in year 2, subject to early acceleration provisions.

The shares and warrants comprising the Units were issued subject to a hold period expiring May 1, 2010.

Limited Market Dealer Inc. received a cash finder's fee of $50,000, a finder's fee of 43,478 units and 303,347 non-transferable non-flow-through finder's fee options with each option being exercisable for one unit at a price of $0.23 for a two year period. Each unit consists of one Common Share and one Non-Flow-Through Warrant exercisable at a price of $0.40 per common share for each Non-Flow-Through Warrant held for 12 months from date of closing of the private placement and thereafter at a price of $0.45 per common share for each Non-Flow-Through Warrant held for a period of 12 months, subject to early acceleration provisions.

The proceeds from the private placement will be used by the Company to advance the Company's recently acquired Golden Rose Properties located in the Emerald Lake area of the Afton and Scholes Townships of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
