ADB International Group's Licensor Set to Receive International Patent Approval for Commercial Wastewater Purification Technology

PR Newswire

SAN ANTONIO, July 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ADB International Group, Inc. (OTCQB: ADBI), a distributor of advanced water treatment systems manufactured by Treatec21 Industries Ltd, today announced that Treatec21's proprietary industrial wastewater purification technology has successfully passed the preliminary stages as a prerequisite for approval of its comprehensive international patent application.

ADBI International was recently appointed as the distributor of Treatec21 state-of-the-art water and wastewater treatment technology systems in Australia and New Zealand on an exclusive basis and in North America on a non-exclusive basis.

Treatec21 recently received an International Preliminary Report on Patentability which report noted that the 45 claims included in Treatec21's patent request on its sophisticated chemical reactor utilized to treat various biological stages of wastewater without surplus wastewater sludge, were all accepted as patentable.

The international patent application was submitted and filed during the 2nd and 3rd fiscal quarters of 2012, in multiple countries including Australia. According to Treatec21's patent counsel and consultant, there is a high likelihood that the patent applications will be accepted.

Treatec21, a subsidiary of YAAD Industrial Ltd, listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, specializes in developing, manufacturing and operating advanced water and wastewater treatment systems using state of the art Multi-Stage Biological Treatment (MSBT) technology, which results in no surplus of organic sludge. Treatec21 products are fully commercial in Israel and Europe, are involved in a major installation in China and are expected to soon be commercially successful in India, Africa and across the globe.

"We are very pleased that Treatec21's state-of-the-art water and wastewater treatment technology systems that ADB International is licensed to distribute will be patent protected in our Australia/New Zealand region," said Shahar Ginsberg, recently appointed CEO of ADB International. "Such patents will bring added value and strength to our business development efforts in that region, as well as in North America where we are a licensed on a non-exclusive basis, and increase our potential for signing commercial wastewater purification projects."
