Homeland Security Corporation Announces Development of Oil Industry Gas Flare Management and Warning System

Homeland Security Corporation (PINKSHEETS: HSCC) pleased to
announce an addition to its line of industrial safety systems.
Oil industry gas flares or flare stacks are used to eliminate
waste gases that are unsuitable for use or transport and to reduce
pressures from non-waste gas that can strain equipment. During an
emergency, gas flares or flare stacks can also help to burn out the
total reserve gas.
HSCC's innovative warning system will trigger a wireless signal
to the main communications center on an oil platform when the flame
in the flare stack goes out. A Digital Video Recorder (DVR) will
activate a camera to verify that the flame has been extinguished.
If no personnel are in the booth or ops center to see the monitor,
the DVR connected to the internet sends a signal to a cell phone
and or computer on the internal network until a response is
initiated. The system can be set to turn on warning lights or
sirens to warn of the flare being extinguished. An automated
relight system can be utilized. The system is designed to work with
a single flare or multiple flares in several locations.
"This system is currently under review in the state of Louisiana
and we anticipate approval for use on our customer's rigs in the
gulf. The intent is to increase safety, efficiency, and compliance
while also realizing cost savings for our customers. This new
wireless system is robust and designed for ease of installation,"
