ZURICH--SMI dips 0.16% to 8226.55. Pharmaceutical firm Actelion
makes up ground lost Tuesday, and is the best-performing issue in
the index with a 1.52% gain. Credit Suisse, the country's
second-biggest bank, registers a 0.89% gain by the close. Julius
Baer sees a 0.2% gain, while UBS, the country's biggest bank, sees
a 0.44% decline. Other decliners include Zurich Insurance, down
0.15%, and watch maker Swatch Group, down 0.8%.
