--Unilever's ninth-largest shareholder, Aviva Investors, has said it intends to vote against the consumer-goods company's plan to move its headquarters to the Netherlands and therefore exit the FTSE 100 index, the Financial Times reports.

--Aviva Investors Chief Investment Officer David Cumming told the newspaper that the asset manager will encourage other institutional shareholders to oppose the move.

--Unilever told the FT it is confident of winning a vote on the proposal, which requires 75% support from U.K. shareholders and 50% support from Dutch shareholders.
