1611 GMT - Talks to turn an MOU to carve-out of Embraer's commercial airplane business and sell it to Boeing are advancing, says Embraer Commercial Aircraft CEO John Slattery. "I don't see any meaningful issues," he says at an Airline Economics conference in New York. The deal may still be put to the Brazilian government, which has a golden share in Embraer, before the end of the year. Embraer may also seek shareholder approval for the deal still this year, Mr. Slattery says. Embraer shares down 1.33%. Boeing down 0.61%. (robert.wall@wsj.com)
