Sono uscito in apertura poiché mi aspettavo valori piú alti considerando la tanto attesa notizia. Ho fatto bene? Chi lo sa. Di sicuro é che alle favole e ai guadagni stratosferici non ci credo piú. Quindi mi accontento di un onesto 5%...andasse sempre cosí...

Come non detto per Nanosphere. Qualcuno in altro forum le aveva consigliate. Leggo che, se entro 180 gg (dal 22 settembre) non raggiungerá la quotazione di 1$ uscirá dal listino Nasdaq.

La Tesla raddoppia e diventa integrale. Elon Musk, padre e padrone della Tesla Motors ha presentato la Tesla D, la versione a trazione integrale della Model S. Il nuovo modello sarà in vendita da febbraio 2015. Tesla ha scelto la lettera D per indicare una variante ad alte prestazioni disponibile per le 60, 85 e P85, di particolare significato in quanto porta all’esordio un sistema di trazione integrale ed una nuova piattaforma a zero emissioni che prevede un doppio motore elettrico (D significa appunto per Dual).
La performace a 12 mesi di Tesla Motors sfiora al momento il 50% e, grazie alla presentazione di questo nuovo modello il titolo quotato a Wall Street potrebbe allungare ulterioremente il passo. Dal punto di vista tecnico, in particolare, iprossimi obiettivi sono individuabili in area 280/290 dollari. Ribassi invece al cedimento di quota 250 con successivi target in area 235.

La percentuale é quella ma la quantità acquistata é stata irrisoria. Quindi soddisfazione ridotta :). Comunque ho venduto. É un titolo di cui non mi fido.
Vediamo di rifarci con le Tesla...a 290!

Mazza che venerdì nero.... nasdaq sotto di oltre 2 punti... coca cola è l'unico verde del mio portafoglio usa... not bad...
Cmq tesla è diventato un titolo davvero troppo speculativo, ok che l'annuncio del dual motor era previsto e cmq non particolarmente determinante ma sono abbastanza certo che musk non si aspettava una reazione del genere da parte del mercato...

I dati americani continuano ad essere positivi. Piú di una volta seppur di poco abbiamo toccato e superato i massimi storici riguardo ad indici e quotazioni dei titoli. Si paga l'incertezza di chi crede che da un momento all'altro tutto crolli e ne pagano le conseguenze anche titoli dalle prospettive rosee come é appunto Tesla.

To be sure, one of the most exciting new features released in Tesla Motor's (NASDAQ:TSLA) big reveal this week was the "auto pilot" feature. The event included the unveiling of the Tesla D, which stands for "dual motor," and gives the new model better performance and all-wheel drive capabilities. During Friday's trading session, however, the market reacted very negatively, seeing shares down as much as 8% and down 6% as of this writing. The question for investors is whether the sell-off is warranted, and where the stock is likely to go from here. While I have been bullish on shares for some time, even at much higher prices, I believe this dip represents yet another long-term buying opportunity - I am sticking with CEO Elon Musk, and believe over the next few quarters investors will be well rewarded.
what's All the Hype About?
The latest Tesla buzz was created by a tweet from Musk that read, "About time to unveil the D and something else." Ever since, speculation has abounded as to what was coming out of the tech company that happens to make cars, although now that the D, "auto pilot," and enhanced safety features have been announced, some analysts are claiming they just see Tesla playing catch-up. Bank of America wrote, the upgrades are "largely as expected," in a piece that was the analyst's attempt at a written yawn.
While features like all-wheel drive and lane departure warning are nearly standard on vehicles in the Tesla Model S's segment, it seems disingenuous to suggest nothing about the reveal was noteworthy. As Musk pointed out, where most AWD systems add weight and often hurt performance, in this case, performance got better in terms of speed, acceleration and energy efficiency. The top-end model, still a luxury ride worthy of any high-end competitor, is capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. That's on par with many exotic sports cars, meaning owners will be able to pack the kids in the back seat, the groceries and golf clubs in the trunk, and still blow away nearly anyone in the next lane looking for a little muscle flexing. Not a yawn to me, but we each have our preferences.
Where the Tesla event moved from fun to truly innovative was with "auto pilot." In this video, you get a look at what the system can do, including read speed limit signs and adjust speed accordingly, drive within a traffic lane with no driver input, change lanes when the turn signal is engaged, and come to a complete stop when an obstacle is detected. Not quite a fully self-driven car, but particularly when combined with all of the other goodies, Tesla is likely to have some big fans.
The Stock
While it is hard to know if the initial reaction was simply a case of buy-the-rumor-sell-the-news, the sell-off has the classic look and feel of an overreaction. Perhaps analysts were hoping for more - likely, given some of the highly critical comments that have come out already - but shares seem to have stabilized quickly and appear to be struggling higher already. While the price action over the next several sessions will be telling, I maintain my view that over the next few quarters, Tesla is going to perform and push much higher. What this means for investors is that while the drop is costly here, it is a buying opportunity and offers great upside potential. For investors who have been waiting after the big push the stock has made this year, now looks like a good time to take a position.

Il programma della Fed di quantitative easing terminerà questo trimestre. Anche se le tempistiche rimangono incerte, i segnali indicano ancora un aumento dei tassi della Fed il prossimo anno.
I mercati azionari non saranno influenzati negativamente dall'aumento misurato dei tassi di interesse nel corso dei prossimi trimestri. L'inflazione statunitense è sotto controllo grazie in parte al recente indebolimento dei prezzi delle materie prime. L'aumento dei prezzi non dovrebbe dunque interferire con i programmi sui tassi della Fed. Il ritmo misurato dei rialzi non deraglierà il processo di ripresa dell'economia e non intaccherà il mercato azionario.
Altri fattori importanti supportano il mercato rialzista. Il dividend yield dell'indice S&P 500 è rimasto intorno al 2%. I dividendi potrebbero crescere più del 10% quest'anno rispetto al livello del 2013. Anche per l'anno prossimo viene stimata una crescita a doppia cifra dei dividendi.
È aumentata l'attività di fusioni e acquisizioni (M&A). Secondo Bloomberg, l'attività di M&A annunciata a livello globale è cresciuta più del 60% quest'anno rispetto al 2013. L'aumento indica una maggiore fiducia nell'outlook delle imprese a livello globale.
Gli investitori hanno riconosciuto il contesto favorevole degli investimenti e le valutazioni si sono alzate. Rispetto al primo trimestre, i dati macro statunitensi sono migliorati. La crescita dell'occupazione rimane solida. Viene stimata ancora una crescita a singola cifra medio-alta degli utili operativi nella seconda metà del 2014 e si prevede un tasso simile di crescita degli utili nel 2015 a fronte di una crescita del pil USA compreso tra il 2,5% e il 3,0%.
E' comprensibile che i rendimenti azionari siano stati meno robusti di recente. Le azioni globali stanno fronteggiando difficoltà ulteriori rispetto agli USA. Gli utili delle aziende quotate sull'indice S&P 500 si sono ripresi di recente. Se l'andamento persisterà, i prezzi delle azioni potrebbero aumentare ulteriormente. Le valutazioni sono ragionevoli. I fondamentali delle azioni rimangono saldamente supportati dalla crescita dei dividendi a doppia cifra, dal prudente riacquisto delle azioni e dalla recente ripresa dell'attività di M&A.
