Ordina and Topicus today closed a cooperation agreement related to savings and investment products. Under the agreement, Topicus will take over the development and exploitation of the Fundation software package from Ordina. Ordina will now specialise in managing the implementation of the package. Fundation is a software application developed by Ordina for the administration of savings and investment products for financial institutions. As part of the agreement, eight Ordina employees will now be employed by Topicus.

Daan Dijkhuizen, Managing Director of Topicus Finance: "In order to provide the best possible service for our clients, we were looking to expand our propositions in the field of asset accumulation and income growth. The transfer of Fundation to Topicus is fully in line with our ambition to realise further growth in software solutions for financial services

Rob Smeets, managing partner at Ordina, says the cooperation agreement is entirely in line with Ordina's profile: "Ordina is increasingly focusing on the smart integration of software in our clients' business. We have extensive know-how of the processes of financial services providers. This, combined with our own IT background, makes us a strong partner when it comes to implementation issues related to software applications."
