Consolidated Minerals Limited (ASX:CSM, AIM:CNM, FSE:CMN) advises that Palmary
Enterprises (Australia) Pty Limited ("Palmary") has lodged a Third Bidder's
Statement in respect of its off-market takeover offer for CSM.

The Bidder's Statement advises of the extended offer period (to 1 January 2008)
and provides an update with respect to Palmary's intentions. The right of
noteholders to convert at the favourable Adjusted Conversion Price of $2.18 per
share until 12 February 2008, notwithstanding the close of the offer period on 1
January 2008 (unless extended), is also noted.
