Resignation of a Proposed
Supervisor
The board of supervisors of China Pacific Insurance
(Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company") recently received a
resignation letter from Mr. YUE Lin, a proposed supervisor of the
Company. Mr. YUE Lin resigned as a shareholder representative
supervisor of the 10th board of supervisors due to change in his
work arrangements. The resignation of Mr. YUE Lin took
effect from 11 April 2024. The nomination of Mr. YUE
Lin as a supervisor was considered and approved at the 2024 first
extraordinary general meeting of the Company, and his appointment
qualification was subject to the approval by the regulatory
authority.
Mr. YUE Lin has confirmed that he has no disagreement
with the board of supervisors of the Company, and that there is no
matter that needs to be brought to the attention of the
shareholders and creditors of the Company.
