Purchase of shares for cancellation

Core VCT I plc announces that on Tuesday, 8 May 2007 it purchased 10,000
Ordinary Shares at a price of 87.30 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 10,934,771 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence and
7,296,381 B Ordinary Shares in issue.
