DFS Furniture plc (the "Company") announces today the cancellation of treasury shares in accordance with the provisions of section 729 of the Companies Act 2006.

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Company discloses the following information:

Number of ordinary shares held in treasury cancelled (with nominal value of £0.10 per share)

4,678,120

Following the cancellation the total number of ordinary shares held in treasury

1,855,580

Following the cancellation the total number of ordinary shares in issue following the cancellation (excluding shares held in treasury)

236,000,000
