QUESTER VCT 4 PLC                               

                               INTERIM DIVIDEND                                

The Board of Quester VCT 4 plc announces that it has decided that the Company
will relinquish its investment company status in order to enable it to pay a
dividend out of realised capital profits.

The Board has declared an interim dividend of 1p per share in respect of the
year ending 31 October 2005 (amounting in total to approximately �520,000),
representing the distribution of part of the realised gains arising in the year
ended 31 October 2004 from the sales of the investments in Amino Technologies
plc, Sterix Limited and Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc.

Dividend amount: 1p

Period: Year ending 31 October 2005

Provisional ex date: 2 March 2005

Record date: 4 March 2005

Payment date: 1 April 2005

Notes: Drip option available
