Grant of Directors' Options

Jason  Drummond, a Director of Virtual Internet plc (the "Company"), has today
granted options over 280,000 ordinary shares in the Company from his personal
shareholding of 13,326,156 ordinary shares (representing 53.1% of issued share
capital  of the Company) to each of Tom Turcan, Chief Executive Officer,  and
Jonathan  Wales, Finance Director.  The aggregate number of shares over  which
these  options have been granted is 560,000, representing 2.2% of  the  issued
share capital of the Company.

Each  option over 280,000 shares is exercisable at a price of #1 in  aggregate
at any time in the next ten years.

Jason  Drummond  will  retain  a  beneficial  interest  in  13,326,156  shares
(representing 53.1% of the issued share capital of the Company) up to the date
of exercise of the above options in the absence of any further dealings.
