Plug Power Announces Shareholder Meeting LATHAM, N.Y., May 6

Shareholders Meeting, Thursday, May 20, 2004, 10:00 am at the

Saillant, Plug Power's President and Chief Executive Officer, will
review the Company's current market adoption strategy which will
include GenCore(R), the Company's 5-kilowatt backup fuel cell
system for the communications industry, GenSite(TM), the Company's
on-site hydrogen generation system for industrial applications such
as generator cooling and metals processing and the Home Energy
Station, a joint development initiative with Honda R&D that
provides electricity and heat for a home and hydrogen fuel for a
fuel cell vehicle. Displays covering all the product initiatives
