Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has reached an agreement to provide the City of San Antonio, Texas, the 7th largest city in the nation, with Tylers INCODE municipal court case management solution. Valued at over $2.2 million, the contract is the largest municipal court contract in Tyler Technologies history and includes software licenses, professional services, maintenance and support.

In addition to the municipal court solution, San Antonio will implement Tylers Document Management solution, allowing for a paperless environment. The Citys courts previously used a mainframe-based document management system and a separate, non-integrated fee collection system. This resulted in massive amounts of paperwork that proved difficult to track and file. Dispositions were often hand-written, causing delays in the data entry process.

The first of eleven courts will go live in the summer of 2009 and implementation will continue over the next eighteen months. By implementing Tylers municipal court solution, the city is moving forward with a fully integrated, workflow enabled case management solution. The City of San Antonios nine judges, 11 associate judges, and staff of 250 users will benefit greatly from their new system.

By deploying Tylers Courts and Justice and Document Management solutions, the City of San Antonio will be able to improve the efficiency of their municipal courts and enhance the overall management of their critical documents, said Brett Cate, president of Tylers INCODE solution. We are looking forward to working with the City.

San Antonio, the county seat for Bexar County in South Texas, has a diverse economy focused on financial services, government, health care, and tourism. Home to the Alamo, San Antonio is the seventh largest city in the United States and the second largest city in the state of Texas. With a population of 1,328,984 as of the 2007 U.S. Census estimate, the City was the nations fourth fastest-growing large city from 2000-2006.
