Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has reached an agreement with Knox County, Indiana to provide real property appraisal services for the 2012 general reassessment. The services, valued at approximately $1 million, include establishing new property values for all parcels and other related services.

Knox County engaged a third party consultant to review and analyze proposals from appraisal vendors. After the consultant’s review, it was determined that Tyler was the most capable, could complete the project accurately and on time, and would be the most responsive to the county’s needs and requirements.

“We’re pleased that Knox County has chosen Tyler as its appraisal services partner,” said David J. Johnson, president of Tyler's CLT Appraisal Services. “Jurisdictions of all sizes rely on us for accurate and defendable market values. We look forward to working with Knox County to ensure the job is done properly and to their satisfaction.”
