Red Pine Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RPX) ("Red Pine" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce the appointment of the following officers:




--  Mr. Elgin M. Wolfe has been appointed as Chairman of the Board 
--  Mr. Richard E. Schler, MBA, has been appointed as Chief Executive
    Officer



They join the recent appointments of;



--  Mr. Quentin Yarie, P. Geo., as President and Chief Operating Officer 
--  Mr. Peter D. Liabotis, CPA, CA, as Chief Financial Officer



Elgin M. Wolfe as Chairman of the Board

Mr. Wolfe has been a director since March 1989. An accomplished and successful
businessman, Mr. Wolfe has spent his working life in the construction and real
estate development business. He currently serves as President of King River
Development Limited and Tri-Main Development LLC, both real estate development
companies.


Richard E. Schler as Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Schler has worked for the Company and been a director since October 2003.
During that period he held various positions including Chief Financial Officer
and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Red Pine, Mr. Schler held various
senior management positions with noted corporations in the manufacturing sector.
Mr. Schler has over 30 years of financial management, engineering and business
operations experience, he holds a MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from
Western University with a background in Mechanical Engineering.


Quentin Yarie as President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Yarie has served as the Company's Senior Vice President of Exploration since
January 2010 and as a director since February 2011. An experienced geophysicist
and a successful entrepreneur, Mr. Yarie has over 20 years of project management
and business development experience in the mining and environmental/engineering
sectors, and has held positions of increasing responsibility with a number of
Canadian-based geophysical service providers. From 1992-2001 Mr. Yarie was a
partner of a specialized environmental and engineering consulting group where he
managed a number of large projects including the ESA of the Sydney Tar Ponds,
the closure of the Canadian Forces Bases in Germany and the Maritime and
Northeast Pipeline project.


Peter D. Liabotis as Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Liabotis has worked for the Company since 2009. Mr. Liabotis is a Canadian
Chartered Professional Accountant with over 16 years of post-qualification
experience. Mr. Liabotis articled for both KPMG and PriceWaterhouseCoopers and
served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Olympia Capital
from 1998 to 2008. Mr. Liabotis' diverse and international work experience has
encompassed the mining, retail, manufacturing, investment funds, and insurance
sectors.
