Strategic Management & Opportunity Corporation (PINKSHEETS: SMPP) announced today that March 7th will mark the roll out date for its Video Sales Platform (VSP) and that they will be working with the soon to be launched WhidbeyLocal.com almost immediately.

SMPP CEO, Julienne Audette, states: "It's been a long time in coming but we are finally ready to move our product into the marketplace." The VSP is a fully integrated online video sales and production solution that allows for everyone involved with the sales, production and distribution of online video to utilize a single interface to get their videos created and shown on the web.

"While we are excited to be rolling out the VSP, we are also extremely pleased to be working with WhidbeyLocal.com from day one," says Audette. "The WL platform is a unique opportunity for local advertisers to create their own online community. From local advertising and events to placing free classified ads the platform is part YP and part community forum."

According to Audette, the WhidbeyLocal.com site is being developed by a group that is using this same platform in several markets throughout the world, including Bermuda and England. "Our hope is to use WL as a proving ground for how simple to use our interface is and what it can mean to publishers all over the world to be able to manage their media content from sales to distribution. Ultimately we hope to broaden our relationship with theses other communities using the same platform and grow our business both nationally and internationally."
