January 2004 it purchased 25,000 of the Company's Ordinary shares at an average
price of 479p each for cancellation in accordance with the authority contained
in the Special Resolution passed by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting
held on 25th September 2003. Following the purchase and settlement of this
transaction there will be 6,252,908 Ordinary shares in issue.
