Vinci SA (DG.FR) said that VINCI Construction subsidiary HEB
Construction has been selected to build a motorway connection in
New Zealand via an alliance contract worth 700 million New Zealand
dollars ($514.7 million).
The contract is for the Northern Corridor Improvements project
in Auckland and stipulates that all parties agree to work together
as an integrated team, with the owner, contractor and designer all
party to one agreement, Vinci said.
HEB Construction's fellow alliance members are the New Zealand
Transport Agency, Fulton Hogan, Opus and Jacobs.
Vinci said the alliance is to begin construction on the project
early this year, with stages of completion scheduled over the next
