Pound Mixed Ahead Of U.K. GDP, Public Sector Finance Data

U.K. GDP data for the third quarter and public sector finance
data for November are due at 4:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of these
data, the pound traded mixed against its major counterparts. While
the pound retreated against the greenback and the yen, it rose
against the euro. Against the franc, it held steady.
The pound was worth 140.71 against the yen, 1.2524 against the
franc, 0.9019 against the euro and 1.2656 against the greenback as
of 4:25 am ET.
