Dollar Mixed Ahead Of U.S. Weekly Jobless Claims

The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended January 12 are
due at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded
mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback fell against
the pound and the euro, it held steady against the yen. Against the
franc, it rose.
The greenback was worth 1.1397 against the euro, 1.2912 against
the pound, 108.74 against the yen and 0.9925 against the franc as
of 8:25 am ET.
