  Further Project with South Staffordshire Water and Beazer Homes
                                 

Advanced  Technology (UK) plc, the provider of  short  range,  low
power  secure  radio  communications systems and  technology,  has
reached  agreement to install its technology in 150 homes  in  the
Cannock area, Staffordshire.

This  follows the project with South Staffordshire Water at  Merry
Hill shopping centre in Dudley where a radio based system for data
collection and revenue information was collected and assessed  for
commercial water users.

This  new installation in 150 Beazer homes will have the automatic
meter  reading system installed and a remote electricity and water
meter  reader network in place that will meet all the requirements
of  a  sophisticated meter reading and management system. It  will
provide more accurate billing, early detection of leaks, access to
data  available on the Internet and an improved product offer from
the  water  companies in terms of attractive schemes and  tariffs.
The  system  will  have  call  centre support  provided  by  South
Staffordshire Water. It is expected that the system will be  fully
operational during the summer.



Peter   Hibbitt,  Chairman  of  Advanced  Technology   (UK)   plc,
commented:

has  been  used in a project with a multi utility. It has endorsed

them to monitor data continuously and provide a better service  to
both themselves and their customers.'
