                               Directorate Change

Bionostics Plc is now concentrating entirely on its two core businesses, In
Vitro Diagnostics ("IVD") and Oxford Cryosystems ("OC"), following the disposal
of the Respiratory business in November 2006.

As part of the programme of reducing the PLC costs and as the majority of the
financial information is now prepared in the US Simon Dighton retires as Finance
Director and from the Board with effect from today. The US Vice President of
Finance, Kelly Winn who has been appointed Company Secretary, will predominantly
assume his responsibilities.

Paul Haycock, Non-Executive Chairman of Bionostics, commented:

the Group and we wish him well in the future."
