    Purchase of own shares


    The Company announces that it purchased 9,800,000 of its Ordinary Shares of 0.1p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 1.80p per share
on 13 October 2008.

    These shares will be held in Treasury.

    This purchase equates to 0.91% of the Company's issued share capital.

    For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital at
the date of this notice is �1,076,006.46 consisting of 1,076,006,457 Ordinary Shares of which 27,100,000 Ordinary Shares are now held as
Treasury shares. The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 1,048,906,457.

    The above figure of 1,048,906,457 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if
they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
