Promethean plc (the "Company")

Distribution of the Company's Shareholding in Cambria Automobiles plc

On 9 July 2012, the Company announced its intention to distribute in specie its shareholding in Cambria Automobiles plc ("Cambria") to those shareholders on the register as at 12 July 2012.

Further to that announcement, Promethean plc announces that the London Stock Exchange has marked the Company's shares ex the distribution as at 10 July 2012.

Under the terms of the in specie distribution, Promethean shareholders can expect to receive 0.74 Cambria shares for every 1 Ordinary Share in the Company.
