Cost-U-Less, Inc. (the �Company�) (Nasdaq: CULS) today reported an
increase of 2.5% in same store sales (stores open a full 13
months), for the four weeks ended October 29, 2006 (October 2006).
For the corresponding period a year ago (October 2005), the Company
experienced a same store sales decrease of 4.1%. Same store sales
for October 2005 were negatively impacted by the timing of the
Company�s annual Anniversary Sale. This promotion occurred in
fiscal September 2005, whereas it occurred in fiscal October in
2004. In 2006 the promotion also occurred in September, the same
month as 2005. Same store sales for the following fiscal periods

29, 2006 2.5% 3.2% Ending October 23, 2005 (4.1%) 4.8% � Total
