10:40 ET -- Nvidia is one of the most mentioned companies in the U.S. across all news items in the last 12 hours, according to Factiva data. The graphics chip maker's market capitalization shot past $1 trillion after shares opened the market Tuesday at an all-time high of $415.50. The seventh U.S. company to achieve a 13-figure market cap, Nvidia had reported record sales amid the recent artificial-intelligence frenzy surrounding OpenAI's ChatGPT technology, leading shares to surge and triple since the beginning of the year.
