Jevic Receives Canadian CSA and PIP Approval; Carrier Now Meets Highest Level of Security Clearance for U.S. and Canada DELANCO, N.J., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jevic Transportation, Inc., a subsidiary of SCS Transportation (NASDAQ:SCST), announced today that it has been approved under the Canadian Customs Self Assessment (CSA) and Partners in Protection (PIP) programs as a Canadian CSA and FAST approved carrier. In April of this year, Jevic was certified by U.S. Customs and Border Protection as a partner in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C- TPAT) program. In order to qualify for FAST approval, a carrier must meet the requirements of the PIP and C-TPAT programs.
