of Festival Season
The American heritage fashion footwear brand Dr. Scholl’s Shoes,
a Caleres (NYSE:CAL) portfolio brand, is launching a special
collaboration with Free People as part of its 100th anniversary
celebrations. To honor this milestone, Dr. Scholl’s Shoes is
partnering with a series of iconic brands throughout the year,
starting with Free People during festival season.

Dr. Scholl’s Shoes x Free People unites two brands that embrace
creativity, comfort and original style. The result is a fresh spin
on two classic materials - denim and eyelet - on the iconic
silhouette that has graced countless festivals throughout the eras
and is sure to be a wardrobe staple throughout spring and
summer.
Dr. Scholl’s Shoes and Free People will launch two styles full
of personality and self-expression. Free People reimagined the
iconic Original Sandal in feminine and festival-worthy variations
that pair perfectly with prairie dresses, maxi skirts and playful
prints, to complement its spring apparel line.
Dr. Scholl’s Shoes x Free People will retail for $158 and be
available at DrSchollsShoes.com, FreePeople.com and in Free People
stores beginning April 2, 2024.
The Original Sandal, which has been a favorite of fashion icons
for generations, has been outfitted in fringe denim as a nod to
Free People’s heritage. The sandal features a saturated, indigo
sole and a raw denim strap with frayed edging, giving extra texture
to the shoe. In contrast, the vintage-inspired Original Sandal in
eyelet is soft and sweet, featuring an eyelet fabric strap
complemented by a bleached wood sole. Both sandals’ straps feature
a surprise geometric print lining, leaning into the playfulness of
Free People, and the sun and star-shaped hardware used in the
collection alludes to the music-filled days and fun-filled nights
of festival season. Consciously crafted, the handmade artisanal
wood clog sole of both Original styles is made from beechwood
certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
