From ERP to land record management, Tyler’s
solutions will bring efficiency to the county
Tyler Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has
signed an agreement with Campbell County, Wyoming, and its Joint
Powers Authorities, CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Facilities and the
Campbell County Fire Department, for several Tyler solutions,
including its Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP), ExecuTime
Time & Attendance™, Document Pro™, Tax-Wise™, and Brazos™
eCitation solutions.
Campbell County and its Joint Powers Authorities were looking
for a single vendor who could help them close gaps in their current
processes. The entities recognized that Tyler could deliver a
comprehensive suite of solutions that would modernize and create
efficiencies across a broad range of departments, including
financial, HR, document management, enterprise asset management,
and land records management. In addition to realizing cost savings
by selecting a single provider, the entities will also simplify
third-party interactions by engaging with a single technology
partner.
“We are very pleased to join with Tyler Technologies as the
county, CAM-PLEX, and the Fire Department proceeds with Tyler’s ERP
solution. Tyler is a recognized leader in the public sector
software field. Their squad of professionals collaborating with our
Project Leadership Authorities and Steering Committee make a highly
enviable team. We look forward to a textbook migration and a
long-term, productive relationship,” said Robert Palmer,
commissioners’ administrative director, Campbell County.
Overall, Tyler’s solutions will modernize Campbell County and
its Joint Powers Authorities systems and processes, eliminating
manual paper processes throughout the organizations. Tyler’s Munis
solution is an integrated ERP system that will manage all of the
entities’ core functions, including financials, procurement, HR,
payroll, and revenues, and work to break down departmental data
silos, streamline processes, and eliminate duplicate data entry
while improving overall financial transparency. In addition to
using the Munis ERP solution, CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Facilities and
the Campbell County Fire Department will also modernize their time
and attendance processes by seamlessly integrating Munis with
ExecuTime in addition to simplifying advanced scheduling for its
employees, eliminating dual entry between timekeeping and
payroll.
The Campbell County Clerk’s Office will use Document Pro’s fully
integrated land and official records solution to streamline records
management. The addition of this solution will help the county
manage its land records within a single system designed to
streamline the completion of daily tasks. The solution will
eliminate manual recording processes and bring more robust search
capabilities to the county. Within the Campbell County Treasurer’s
Office, Tyler’s Tax-Wise solution will deliver accurate and
efficient tax billing and collections, as well as revenue
disbursement.
Finally, the addition of Tyler’s Brazos eCitation solution will
provide mobile citation solutions to the Campbell County Sheriff’s
Office. An electronic citation solution that can be used on
laptops, tablets, and handheld cellular devices, Brazos is used to
capture, process, and transmit data into public safety and court
systems.
“Campbell County and its Joint Powers Authorities are taking an
efficient approach in selecting multiple Tyler solutions to be used
across various departments within their respective entities,” said
Chris Hepburn, president of Tyler’s ERP & Schools Division.
“The entities have recognized the benefits that come with selecting
a single vendor to provide best-in-class solutions that can make
daily processes easier for staff, which translates into a better
constituent experience.”
Tyler expects to work closely with Campbell County and its Joint
Powers Authorities to integrate its solutions, helping them to
become a truly connected community and allowing them to connect
data, processes, and people. In fact, the city of Gillette (the
county seat of Campbell County) is also a Tyler Munis user, and the
county and city are eager to integrate the ERP systems to bring
even more value to its residents.
