WPP Unit to Acquire Majority Stake in Turkish Marketing Agency

LONDON--Advertising company WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Thursday that
its marketing communications unit, J. Walter Thompson Co., will
acquire a majority stake in Turkish marketing agency Wanda Digital
for an undisclosed sum.
The deal follows an initial investment made by J. Walter in
Wanda last year.
Shares of WPP at 0730 GMT trading flat at 1,677 pence.
