The European Union's antitrust division is expected to issue a statement of objections against Honeywell International Inc. (HON) and DuPont Co. (DD) over an automotive coolant chemical they developed, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.

A spokesman for Honeywell said the company is "confident that our practices are consistent with the law," while a spokeswoman for DuPont said the is confident that regulators "will ultimately conclude that actions taken by DuPont complied with applicable laws," Bloomberg reported.
